The Journal of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (JGAR) a peer reviewed publication founded in 2018, is the official journal of the Indian Society ofgastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ISGAR).

The society was formed on the 4th of September 2016 and registered on the 7th of December 2016. ISGAR aims at improving diagnostic and therapeutic skills in abdominal radiology by providing a common platform of interaction to develop best practice guidelines through educational and research activities and interdisciplinary collaboration for improving patient care.

The Journal of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (JGAR) aims to be at the forefront of abdominal imaging, affirming classic and proven diagnostic pathways while disrupting and dismantling misconceptions that have stood undisputed for decades.
