The society took a giant leap in its endeavors by launching the first ever standard guidelines for orthopedic clinicians in 2014. These guidelines are meant to establish treatment protocols and provide a roadmap to clinicians for the assessment, decision-making and management of complex fracture situations. The guidelines are being published in a series of books titled Guidelines in Fracture Management, compiled by eminent Indian and international clinicians. They illustrate all possible treatment options and latest management techniques that can be used, with special emphasis on the health scenario in the Asia-Pacific region.
