The Annals of Otology and Neurotology is the official scientific publication of the Indian Society of Otology (ISO). The ISO is a professional body of clinicians practicing the fields of surgical otology, neurotology and medical audiology, cosmetic otology, implantation Otology and allied disciplines.

The  Annals of Otology and Neurotology a peer-reviewed international journal that comprises of articles from clinicians and researchers in basic sciences related to hearing and balance disorders.  The journal is expected to serve as an academic platform for interaction between clinicians and researchers on the latest developments in clinical anatomy, physiology, pharmacology as well as in diagnostics and therapeutics (surgical/non-surgical/rehabilitative measures) in otology and neurotology and also apprise and update practitioners on recent advancements in the diagnosis and management of disorders in the auditory and vestibular systems.  Publication will be in accordance to the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors http://www.icmje.org and all submissions will be subjected to a rigorous peer review. 




The journal invites articles on surgical otology, medical audiology and neurotology, tinnitology, implantation otology, endoscopic ear surgery cosmetic and reconstructive otology, basic sciences related to the auditory and vestibular systems and ear related oncology. Submissions will be accepted from medical graduates working in the above fields. Original research articles, review articles, how I do it, interesting case reports and some invited editorials on emerging trends related to clinical practice (e.g., the pros and cons of a new technique or of a new diagnostic / therapeutic instrument or of some drug) will be published in the journal. The journal will be run by a competent editorial board comprising of eminent personalities and scientific celebrities pertaining to the discipline of otology and neurotology.
